OVERVIEW of YOUR TRAVEL OPTIONS

Once you’ve enjoyed the delights of the glorious, cosmopolitan, harbour city of Sydney and head south there are a number of options available to travel to Huskisson, Jervis Bay for the Hobie 16 World Championships in 2014, including taking a shuttle bus, a coach or jumping on a train and travelling by rail.

All of these are excellent options however travelling by road in a self-drive vehicle is our recommended option.

Travelling this way you can take maximum advantage of the spectacular drive down the New South Wales south coast, a drive that reveals dramatic and magical scenery and some truly delightful townships.

Also, when you find you have some time available during your stay, the Shoalhaven region provides an abundance of opportunities for self-drive trips within an hour of the event location that are a must for any traveler to visit, places like Kangaroo Valley, Mollymook, Milton and Ulladulla. Just travelling to and exploring the magnificent locations in and around Jervis Bay is something not to be missed and a car gives you that freedom.

Staying on the M1 Princess Highway, the most direct route, the Sydney to Huskisson trip is an easy 180km 2.5 to 3 hour drive down the beautiful south coast of New South Wales.

There are many breathtaking views, scenic locations and delightful towns along the route that are worth visiting and you should consider stretching the journey into a full day’s drive, or even longer, choosing to stay and explore the many options on the journey south will be a much enjoyed and worthwhile experience. We have listed many of these options in our “DIRECTIONS” link.

Some delightful photos of many of the wonderful locations you can explore can be seen in “VISITOR INFO> PHOTOS” in this website.
