The Shoalhaven region is located approximately two hours south of the states capital city Sydney, an hour south of the third largest city in New South Wales, Wollongong and Australia's capital city Canberra is just over two hours to the south west. The Shoalhaven has a population of just over 60 000 permanent residents who live in an amazingly diverse and uniquely, spectacular topography, centred on the magnificent coastal beaches, the Shoalhaven River, Jervis Bay and St Georges Basin waterways and the highly fertile rolling meadows of the environs surrounding Berry. The spectacular bushland down to Ulladulla and the cliff faced escarpments and undulating hills located in and around Kangaroo Valley.
